First Mountain Mission

I bought myself a cheap and lovely little Olympus point and shoot camera so i can actually take photos, cause im too scared to carry my Sony a850 around everywhere, so bare with me the quality is quite shitty but atleast i can take more photos.

Here is mayor and i on our first venture onto the Snowmass Mountain.

Arriving in SAspen

Eventually arrived in Aspen, the city i will now call home for the next 4 months.
I am in love with this place already. It is so beautiful and so safe here. I am staying on 2nd street which is not far from the center of town. Living with 8 other Saffers, what a vibe:)

Exploring on our first day, lead by the mayor of Aspen herself.

The Adventure begins...

My beloved family (excluding kitty) saying farewell at the airport

Thought it was just fitting to start a little travel blog, to document my escapades into the unknown territory of America and beyond... It will probably be mostly photos as i substantially lack in the creative writing department... so bare with me :)

It is day 2 already of my journey, and i find myself sitting waiting for 8 hours for my flight from Denver Colorado to Aspen. Already having missed one flight thanks to my dearest travel partner in crime Nixstix, almost not getting through customs:) So here we are parked out on some dreadfully uncomfortable airport chairs waiting... watching... smelling the sweet scent of Taco Bell and Burger King. Lucky for us there is free wifi... i love America:)

As those who know me well, know i do not go anywhere without my trusty "Scruffy" dog, he is quite the worldly traveller, came with me on my gap year, been up the Eiffel tour, mascot on our contiki bus, suspended from a mast in Croatia and even been hung by miss McLeod from his tail (which he no longer has) from a light fitting. So it just seemed appropriate to include him on this venture.

This is us bored and exhausted...

Thats all for now
